What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hostess / Receptionist position at Davy Knapp Photography, Inc?
We are looking for a Full Time Accounts Receivables Specialist who is looking to gain excellent hands-on experience in the accounting field in a company with great company culture!
This role requires an individual who is extremely organized and has high attention to detail, ensuring minimal mistakes are made. While some accounts receivable experience is important, a willingness to learn and take ownership on assigned tasks through completion is paramount.
Schedule
Monday to Friday 8 hours (9-5) in office only.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting controls and policies
- Ensure daily credit and collections operations are running effectively
- Using data entry to change paper records to a digital format
- Reminding customers about upcoming payments or past-due accounts
- Keeping accurate records of payments that they receive from customers
- Creating reports for supervisors and providing digital or paper copies of records when requested
Requirements
- MS Office Certification is a plus
- 2 years’ experience in accounting, bookkeeping
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to organize anything
- Professional personal presentation
