What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service position at Dawning Pt -garrison?
This position is responsible for kitchen responsibilities and supports center management with daily operations such as answering the phones, providing bathroom breaks, and general cleaning. This position reports directly to center director and owners and demonstrates knowledge of company vision. On a daily/weekly basis kitchen staff will:
Cook and prep meals & snacks
Generate menus
Complete inventory
Place grocery pickup/delivery orders
Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen area
Fill-in classroom settings as needed
Job expectations also include: Completing ServSafe Food Handlers or Managers Training. Managing kitchen compliance with USDA standards, Virginia Health Department regulations, company expectations, and any licensing regulations.
