General Laborer

Responsibilities:

• Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operation, sorting, and cleaning parts.
• Move product and inventory using a forklift or lifting jack.
• Loading trucks for shipments using forklift.
• Report defective materials to the department supervisor
• Scan into work orders as you are completing the task using our JobBoss system.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

Physical Demands:

• May be required to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Requirements:

• Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
• Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization.
• Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Maintain the production pace of other team members.
• Must have drivers license.
• At least 2 years experience working in a fabrication shop/warehouse is preferred but not required.
