Summary

We are seeking a passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team at the Daycare Center. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment for children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This position is essential in helping us achieve our goal of providing high-quality childcare.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education.
• Supervise and engage with children in various activities to encourage learning and development.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
• Observe children's behavior and guide as needed to support their social skills.

Requirements

• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and staff.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• First Aid/CPR certification is preferred but not required.
• High School diploma required; CDA OR TCEC 1&2 preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
