Job Title: Testing Psychologist

Hours: This is a part time position, up to 29 hours per week, non benefited position.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Testing Psychologist who will specialize in the assessment and evaluation of clients to diagnose and understand various psychological and cognitive issues. This position involves administering and interpreting psychological tests and assessments to guide treatment planning and improve clients' mental health. The psychologist determines their own schedule and how many assessments per week.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret a wide range of psychological and neuropsychological tests to assess clients' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- If utilizing psychometrist for administration, ensure quality and accuracy of work.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to diagnose psychological conditions and guide treatment planning.
- Choose appropriate assessments and testing tools based on clients' specific needs and referral questions.
- Ensure the reliability and validity of testing instruments and procedures.
- Prepare detailed and accurate psychological assessment reports summarizing test results, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations.
- Communicate findings to clients, families, and relevant healthcare providers in a clear and understandable manner.
- Collaborate with therapists, clinicians, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Offer guidance and recommendations to support clients' mental health and well-being.
- Stay current with psychological assessment research and best practices in the field.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of assessment protocols and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical psychology or a related field.
- Current state licensure as a psychologist.
Certifications:
- Licensure as a Psychologist in the state of practice.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in testing and assessment, with a focus on pediatric assessment and testing.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment instruments, interpretation of results, and ethical guidelines.
Physical Requirements:
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
- May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings.
- Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.
- Good communication skills and emotional resilience to provide support to patients facing mental health challenges.
Compensation: 60% of net collections.
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for this position. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education.
