What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Director position at Daystar Church?
The Production Director is responsible for partnering with the Campus Worship Pastor to facilitate a passionate, God-centered worship experience within the people of Daystar Church through excellence, organization and creativity. This leader will provide vision and direction for production at our broadcast campus, providing oversight and guidance to the production volunteers, and also developing and training production leaders in the growing and multi-faceted production ministries of Daystar Church. This involves developing and implementing training processes, while providing Christ-like leadership in all areas of the Daystar Production Ministries.
This position also assumes responsibility at the campus level for assisting the Campus Pastor in attracting new families, shepherding existing families, developing leaders from within, and creating community. The ideal candidate for this role will be a gifted leader who is both a confident leader and a humble, team player.
Goals and Expectations
The effective Production Director will achieve the following goals during the first 12 months of work:
- Oversee production teams at the campus level, while coordinating with the Campus Worship Pastor to develop the weekly order of worship.
- Build teams and train leaders within the campus production teams through a measurable recruiting/training/assimilation process and discipleship process.
- Build healthy relationships with other campus ministries and leaders.
- Collaborate with the Daystar Worship team in creating the atmosphere for the weekend services.
- Provide vision, oversight, and management for the Daystar College practicum students who choose to serve within the Production Ministry for their Practicum.
