Dayton Auto Care is seeking a Vehicle Detailer to provide quality automotive and recreational vehicle cleaning services to our customers.
The Vehicle Detailer shall clean vehicles according to company standards, which may include performing detailed inspections, thoroughly washing, buffing, and waxing exteriors, vacuuming, steaming, and deodorizing interiors, and keeping records on the condition of the vehicle.
The Detailer shall be familiar with the tools of the trade and the use of and precautions related to agents and chemicals used to clean and maintain vehicles.
This position requires a High School diploma, or equivalent, and a valid unrestricted state driver’s license with a good driving record. Prior vehicle detailing experience is a plus, although on-site training is available. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the physical ability to meet the demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods, raising arms overhead, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Promptness and pride in a job well done is essential. The Detailer will assist others in the shop and perform light housekeeping and other tasks, as assigned.
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including a one hour lunch period. Weekends off!
