Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of mechanical assembly duties such as riveting and drilling to bond composite assemblies as well as ensure the parts and assembly meet requirements.
- Loads and unloads molds in the oven/press/autoclave. Ensure accurate operation of ovens according to the specifications for the materials and bonding agents.
- Check all work and ensure a defective free assembly prior to quality inspection.
- Maintains and prepares materials for log tickets.
- Maintains all tools, molds, fixtures and production equipment in the Composite Assembly area.
- Follows company workmanship and quality standards.
- Other assigned tasks by management.
- Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 1 years' of Assembly experience
- Skilled in interpreting and working with detailed blueprints and work instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to proficiently use a variety of power tools and hand tools.
- Experience with riveting and drilling to bond assemblies.
- Must be able to lift and push up to 25 lbs.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the composite assembly process is preferred.
