Cashier/Customer Service

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will handle transactions accurately while assisting with product information and maintaining store standards.

Duties

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist in ensuring service customers are taken care of.
• Check and ensure repair orders are filed/scanned properly.
• Help service advisors with cashiering of their customers.
• Assist with incoming phone calls to help schedule service appointments and provide information as needed.
• Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Advise customer of surveys and help handle any concerns.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.

Skills

• Proven experience in customer service .
• Proficiency in cashiering and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales reporting.
• Must be professional and have a friendly demeanor with staff and customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
