DBA Construction, Inc. is now hiring a Mobile Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various Heavy equipment/trucks and vehicle systems.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect/repair brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of trucks.
- Repair experience with various CAT earthmoving and other related heavy equipment
- Use different tools and equipment, such as pressure gauges, pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, screwdrivers, hoists, jacks, to repair trucks while constantly utilizing safety procedures.
- Perform routine heavy equipment maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts.
- Diagnose malfunctions in defective equipment by inspecting and testing using devices such as motor analyzers and handheld computers to determine how to address problems.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Heavy diesel/truck mechanic
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Deadline and detail-oriented
