JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician will report to the crew leader on a daily basis to fulfill work orders and perform preventative maintenance on the section of roadway assigned.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Debris and litter removal and clean-up
• Concrete spall repair
• Accident response ( on call Schedule) & clean up
• Slope repairs
• Joint repairs
• Cleaning and painting steel
• Driving various vehicles and operating a variety of access equipment and tools
• Do repair, maintenance and technician work as required per assignment on interstates
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license is required
• High School diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MOT training
• Experience working with concrete a plus
• Relative experience: bridge maintenance / construction
• This position typically involves a 40 hour work week but candidates must be willing to work additional hours as needed
• Candidates must be able to accommodate a on call schedule for emergency scenarios i.e. work unusual/unscheduled work shifts that will or may require availability on days, nights, holidays, weekends, etc.
