DBK, Ink. is looking for a motivated and dependable Coordinator for the Electrical Department that has a strong desire to continue pursuing this as a career and is motivated to continue learning skills and gaining experience within our construction department. The Electrical Coordinator skillfully evaluates each customer call for their severity, needs or concerns and matches them with the appropriate technicians. Keeping a watchful eye on the GPS tracking system and is always aware of the location of each technician. As priorities quickly change, so does the scheduling. The appropriate handling of the daily tasks requires accuracy and a detailed transfer of information while understanding there is often little time to do so. The ideal candidate will have an attention to detail even under pressure and excellent organizational skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintains the electrical technicians’ schedules.
- Schedules technicians return trips with customers to complete work after arrival of parts.
- Enters service calls, schedule calls, and generates call debriefing with electrical technicians daily.
- Responds to customer inquiries regarding company schedule and requested lead times, prepare service invoicing, and general inquiries.
- Responds to technician request both by e-mail and phone.
- Follows up and schedules preventative maintenance service appointments.
- Reviews completed work orders for accuracy.
- Prepares invoices and timecards for processing.
- Participates in all company-sponsored training classes.
- Effectively manages conflict resolution with clients through clear communication, addressing all concerns, questions, or problems expediently.
- Prepares weekly work reports for the Electrical Manager.
- Assist or cover for other coordinators with calls when needed.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assign.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of experience in related industry dispatch and coordination.
- Geographical knowledge of the service area and/or map reading skills.
- Advanced communication and customer service skills.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum five years’ experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general software navigation.
- Electrical knowledge (Preferred)
