We are seeking a No-Fault/Worker's Comp Biller/Investigator to join our team!
You will be working closely with Patients and Employers to collect the pertinent information/documentation that was not collected at the time of service as well as contacting the Insurance Companies for verification/billing and follow up.
The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and is comfortable spending much of the day on the phone and computer.
Responsibilities include:
1. Contacting Patients and Employers for Insurance Information
2. Submission of Billing to Insurance Companies or Employers
2. Follow-up with Insurance Companies on billed claims for processing and payment
2. Follow-up with Employer on billed claims for processing and payment
3. Follow-up with Worker's Compensation Board for decisions and complaints
4. Appeals on underpaid claims
5. Review of paid claims to ensure the NYS Fee Schedule is processed
6. Minimal Fee Scheduling and Billing Claims/Resubmits
7. Contacting Patients/Attorneys for AOBs/NF Applications.

Qualifications

Salary : $45,000 - $52,000
