DCI Donor Services operates three organ procurement/tissue recovery organizations: New Mexico Donor Services, Sierra Donor Services, and Tennessee Donor Services. We also maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank.

Below are some of the key accountabilities/qualifications this position will hold:

The Tissue Recovery Technicians work around the clock as a team in the recovery of human tissue as a vital part of the donation process.

The Tissue Recovery Technicians will participate in the recovery, packaging, and labeling of human tissue. The recovery consists of cleaning and setting up the recovery room, surgical prep of the donor, aseptic recovery of human tissue, restoration of the donor, and decontamination of the recovery room and instruments.

Training is a combination of instructor conducted didactic wet labs, the completion of training modules, and active training.

• Starting Pay: $23.00 for Tissue Technician I.

• Opportunity to advance Technician Levels within 12 months with an increase of pay at each level.
  • Technician II: $24.75
  • Technician III: $26.75
  • Technician IV: $28.00
  • Technician V: $29.00
