Dealerware’s team is currently hiring for a QA Automation Engineer. We are looking for a manual frontend/backend QA tester who is excited to take on automation projects and is looking to grow.

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will:

  • Manually test changes to frontend and backend code
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure test coverage and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in test automation and CI workflows
  • Participate in SCRUM ceremonies
  • Take a sense of ownership of the quality of your domain
  • Develop and execute API tests using like Postman
  • Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines (ie: CircleCI)
  • Document test cases, procedures, and results

Required qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in software development or QA automation
  • 2 years of experience developing using Git version control
  • 2 years of experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions)
  • 2 years of developing backend API tests (e.g., Postman, Insomnia, ReadyAPI, GraphQL)
  • 3 years of QA experience
  • Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with frontend testing tools (e.g., Selenium, WebDriverio, Playwright, Cypress)
  • Experience with database seeding and test data management
  • Experience with mobile automation frameworks (e.g., Flutter, Dart, Swift, Kotlin)
  • Experience with microservice architecture
