We are looking for a friendly, skilled and Certified Dental assistant to join our team! The successful candidate will work closely with the dentist, providing chair-side assistance during dental procedures and ensuring a comfortable experience for patients. attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a sterile and organized work environment are crucial.
- Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform patient assessments and record medical history
- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed
- - scribe dental notes
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Utilize Denticon for scheduling and record keeping
- Assist with CAD/CAM systems for digital impressions and restorations
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures, including passing instruments and materials
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Check in lab cases and coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations
- Follow infection control protocols
- Requirements:
- Dental assisting certification or relevant experience
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and anatomy
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Denticon or other systems
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations (Optional)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assist with dental receptionist duties when needed
- Taking impressions or knowledge of the ITERO scanner.
- Understanding how to assist in implant and surgical procedures.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- X-ray certification

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
