- POSITION SUMMARY

- Summary :
- Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for assisting resident Physical Therapist with pediatric patients.
Primary duties include completing physical therapy treatments such as therapeutic exercises, modalities, gait training, patient / family education, clerical work, and supervisory work.
Employee normally performs the duty assignments after receiving general instructions as to methods, procedures, and desired end results.
The assignment is reviewed upon completion.
- Work Schedule :
- May work 8- to 10-hour days between the hours of 7 : 30 am to 6 pm. Weekend and holiday coverage is also expected on a rotational basis.
Must be able to work non-standard hours, including evenings.
- SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Education
- College degree as applicable for Physical Therapy Assistant. New grads welcome.
- Experience
- One to two years related experience. Pediatric experience helpful.
- Computer Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility.
- Certificates & Licenses
- Must have current Indiana PTA license or eligible. Valid driver's license required. Certified in BLS.
