- Work hands-on with younger athletes to build strong fundamentals that last
- Motivate swimmers to set goals and reach them whether that’s a best time or a new skill
- Keep lines of communication open and positive with parents, swimmers, and fellow coaches
- Support team meets, track attendance/performance, and keep the vibe fun but focused
Who You Are:
- You’ve got real swim experience (USA Swimming, YMCA team, or college varsity)
- You’ve either coached before or have taught swim lessons and loved it
- You understand stroke mechanics, body position, and training strategies—and want to keep learning more
- You’re organized, encouraging, and can explain technique in a way that actually makes sense
- You’re CPR/First Aid certified (or can be within 60 days)
- You believe in developing swimmers as people, not just athletes
Why You’ll Love It Here:
- You’ll work with a group of passionate swimmers and supportive families
- Our coaching team is collaborative, caring, and always ready to cheer you on
- We believe in youth development, healthy living, and giving back to the community
- You’ll be part of a team with a legacy of district, state, and national achievements
