What are the responsibilities and job description for the Router position at Deckers Brands?
Your Impact The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for much of the logistics administration in both road transport and shipping.
- Ensure files and records are maintained with no outstanding discrepancies or reports whilst also examining any documents to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Prepare information for any required Shipping schedules
- Resolve complaints and eliminate delays by closely working with supervisors and shipping personnel to assess progress and improve efficiency.
- Must be able to take responsibility and ownership of their work
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Possess a high degree of dependability and integrity
- Must be able to work with little supervision
- Knowledge of warehouse related software
- Highly motivated, a team player and motivated self-starter
- Experience using a WMS (Warehouse Management System) is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word)
- Attention to detail is required
