Job Summary: Seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who will be responsible for providing services that address DeCoach Rehabilitation Centre's mission and are provided in a manner consistent with the organization's vision and values.
Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team, our nursing staff provides direct and indirect patient care
- Care provided includes participating in the patient treatment regimen, prescribing, and administering medications, documenting care provided, monitoring, and evaluating the quality of care, providing psychotherapy services, and assisting in the development of treatment plans
- Our medical staff can multitask and provide exceptional customer service to our clients
- They are interested in growing professionally and continually learn new skills in the nursing field.
Qualifications:
- Graduating from an accredited psychiatric nurse practitioner program with a Master’s degree
- PMHNP license in the state of Ohio
- Competent to independently perform safe nursing skills and procedures
- Able to critically think and problem solve in routine and emergency situations
- Experience supervising direct support staff
- Excellent communication skills and able to work in a team environment.
