What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Attendant /Busser position at Default (All-EOS Job Aggregator)?
Job Description
As a Breakfast Attendant/ Busser you would be responsible for setting and clearing dining tables and stocking service stations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Additionally, you will assist with banquet service as needed, ensuring smooth operations during events.
Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Maintaining proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or supply shortages to management
- Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s) / server station(s)
- Assist food server(s) with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages, bread and butter, etc.
- Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area for proper cleaning
- Efficiently serving multiple guests during peak breakfast hours
- Clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Regularly cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, and buffet stations.
- Communicating with kitchen staff regarding food availability and guest requests.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous background from the hospitality industry preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
- Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.
- Will be required to regularly use commercial cleaning chemicals.
- Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Will be required to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.
