Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspect, diagnose, and repair systems, equipment, and buildings
- Ensure building codes and regulations are met and exceeded
- Coordinate needed work with front desk and housekeeping to maximize guest satisfaction
- Respond to guest issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Work with team on special projects
Requirements
- At least two years of hotel maintenance experience or equivalent
- Have the availability to share in working evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must know or be willing to learn drywalling, applying texture, and painting
- Familiar with HVAC systems helpful
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Plumbing and boiler basics is essential
- Technical skills with relevant equipment
- Important to accurately read blueprints and manuals
- Strong communications skills
- Multitasking abilities
