What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Guard Level III position at Defense Consulting Services?
Positions based on potential contract award
Location of service: MISSION TEXAS
Work Schedule: eight (8) hours of security services, seven (7) days per week, three hundred sixty-five (365) days per year. Part-Time positions
The primary functions of the Security Guards are, but not limited to:
To detect, identify, report, and guard against threats related to unauthorized personnel, contraband, and instruments of damage, destruction, and information collection from entering the facility from any location at or near the facility/structure.
To conduct surveillance and counter-surveillance of the facility/structure perimeter and avenues of approach in order to prevent unauthorized personnel from gathering information or illegally entering the installation; and
To employ appropriate force to neutralize any threat from unauthorized individuals illegally attempting to enter the facility/structure with the intent to harm personnel or damage facilities and equipment.
Clearance Requirements:
1. Only U.S. citizens, by birth or naturalized
2. Background Check - fingerprinting and criminal history check
3. Suitability/Fitness screening
4. Security questionnaire review
5. Resume Review
6. Valid Driver's License
7. Level III Commissioned Security Officer in the State of Texas
Certifications required:
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Pepper Spray
- First Aid
- Firearms
- Defensive Tactics Training
- Telescopic Baton
- Hand Cuffing
- Tourniquet
