Basic Requirements: Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate.

For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Leading work processes to meet customer needs, improving information technology policy and process development, and defining procedures for post-implementation support.

- Providing technical guidance over IT systems and applications
- Provides advice and assistance to customers to minimize interruptions in customers’ ability to carry out critical business activities.
- Reviews technical and design specifications to address customer requirements.
- Provides technical support to customers who need assistance utilizing client level hardware and software.
- Develops and manages customer performance requirements and customer support policies and procedures.
- Serves on application implementation team to ensure that customer service requirements are addressed.

- This position requires the incumbent to travel away from their normal duty station to other locations within the continental United States (CONUS) up to 10 percent of the time.

- This is a mission essential position. The nature of the position's duties and the organizations operational mission requires the incumbent to physically report to their duty station in certain situations where non-essential employees are excused.
- This position is subject to completion of 1 year probationary period for assignment to a supervisory position.
- A three-year trial period may be required if you have not previously completed a trial or probationary period in the excepted or competitive service.
