What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Helper position at Defense Search?
We have immediate positions for Press Operator Helpers with a leading aerospace components manufacturer in Orange, CA. Daily duties include :
Checks press to ensure good working and ensure correct set up of dies
Keeps area clean and burners in their proper place
Reads work order specifications and forge instructions before each run
Makes sure furnace, parts, and die temperature are to work order specifications
Notifies the press operator of any problems with the press, furnace, tools, Work Order, etc..
Responsible for following press schedule, set p, and finding and loading parts in the furnace
Ability to put stock or part on press die for the operator to spray (lubricate)
Must contribute to a positive work environment
Support and maintain Quality Policy. Maintain 5 "S" standard
Qualifications :
Read basic Blueprints
Basic Count
Physical demand, use of hands, lift, reach, specific vision ability, standing for long hours, walking, and lifting or move up to 50lbs
- Able to work in a Hot environment.
