Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Shop Hand to join our waterjet fabrication team. This is a vital hands-on role where you will support our daily operations, ensure the shop runs smoothly, and help get high-quality finished products out the door.
No experience? No problem. We are willing to train the right individual who has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn the trade from the ground up.
We will consider both full and part time candidates.
Responsibilities
- Production Support: Assist waterjet operators with machine setups and material handling.
- Part Finishing: Debur, clean, and prep cut parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Material Management: Gather raw materials for upcoming jobs and put away new stock deliveries.
- Shipping & Receiving: Load and unload trucks; safely package finished parts for transport.
- Logistics: Operate a forklift (training provided) to move heavy materials around the shop.
- Shop Maintenance: Keep the workspace organized, clean, and safe.
- General Tasks: Perform various shop duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Experience operating forklifts, power tools, and hand tools is a plus.
- Ability to work safely around machinery and adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs. and be on your feet for long periods.
- Ability to follow safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
