POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Project Manager to our team. We are a leader in the Glass, Glazing & Paneling Industry. Education/Experience:
- 5 years of experience with the Glass, Glazing & Paneling Industry
- B.S. college degree preferred - Math, Engineering and/or Architectural
- Fluent in English

- Computer Literacy; proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and ERP computer packages
- Excellent time management, decision making, problem solving and organizational skills
- High-level of integrity, professionalism, and work ethic
- Able to self-manage stress to stay productive
- Strong written, verbal, and team building skills
- Excellent attention to detail and listening skills
- Excellent follow up skills are a must
- Must be persistent, methodical, and timely
- Ability to consistently meet all deadlines
- Able to meet some physical requirements: walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, etc.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Working with hard bids, D/B construction type contracts.
- Review and analyze proposals from suppliers and vendors daily.
- Able to analyze costs - actual versus projected.
- Experience with RFIs, change orders and track disputed items.
- Strengthen the company’s reputation in the marketplace through impressive professionalism and relationship building with contractors and customers.
- Ensure the scope of work is 100% accurate, to avoid miscommunication, errors, redoes, and the need for a second estimate.
- Utilize construction related software to track actual costs against projections on awarded jobs.
- Perform various admin tasks, sub agreements and AIA payment requests.
- Produce detailed unit takeoffs from architectural drawings.
- Utilizes computerized estimating spreadsheets and proposal forms in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam and Word.
