Intelligently and efficiently perform diagnostics, repair, and maintain commercial restaurant equipment, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
- Profound knowledge of various types of refrigeration and kitchen equipment work
- Outstanding soldering and blazing skills, applying oxygen/propane
- Ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams, follow manuals on operation and installation
- Apply various types of equipment safely and efficiently when performing a job
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision and take responsibility for the repair of assigned equipment
- Strong knowledge of plumbing repair and installation practice and procedure
- Strong knowledge of basic electrical practice, theory and safety
- Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of commercial refrigeration practice and theory

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess refrigerant transition and recovery certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be at least 18 years or older
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, hands to feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk; talk or hear; climb or balance; kneel, crouch and crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The position is indoors and outdoors; and is exposed to wet, hot, humid and/or cold conditions at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The staff member will work in a high traffic/high volume business environment and will be required to spend a majority of their time on their feet.
