Staff Coordinator
Focused Responsibilities:
This role is to coordinate the scheduling of client care, with a caregiver possessing matching availability and attributes. Successful completion will require excellent communication of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) with client and caregiver, frequent ability to pivot & reschedule care, empathize with clients concerns and being the point of contact for the assigned client and their caregiver.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Scheduling of multiple caregivers to maximize assigned hours of authorized assistant care
- Frequent communication of any changes or concerns
- Weekend on-call shifts will be on a rotational basis
- Required to fill in for client if a suitable replacement cannot be found
- Ability to make up/ schedule any missed hours of service later in the billing week
Attributes & Tasks:
- A “standard” of client care
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Teaching approach to improve our caregivers outlook & performance
- Ability to multi-task
- Discipline to document (in AxisCare) all client interactions
- Timely completion of incident reports
- Daily review of each assigned caregiver/ client calendar to determine if additional action is warranted
- Time management skills & ability to follow up without being prompted to do so
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Salary : $45,000 - $49,000
