The Delaware Hayes Instrumental Music program has a long and proud tradition of music excellence. The instrumental music in Delaware City Schools begins with our sixth graders in our middle school. As students progress musically, jazz band options become available in the middle and high school. By the time they reach high school they are able to participate in the The Delaware Hayes Grand Pacer Marching Band, concert band and symphonic orchestra.
The teaching position begins August 11, 2025, however marching band camp will be held during the Summer prior to school starting. The successful teacher candidate will work with students in grades 6-12 and will have the support of a talented music department.
