Minimum Qualifications:
Successful applicants must have at least five years of work experience; possess a current, five-year Ohio professional license that includes middle school grade levels, and have or be able to complete the Ohio Department of Education’s career and technical education validation process OR possess a current, five-year or four-year alternative resident career and technical education license; through education and work-related experiences, applicant must demonstrate attainment of specific skills and knowledge in the content standards and sample course outlines; ability to work with business/industry required; applicants should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must successfully pass BCI/FBI background check; experience with multiple languages preferred
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Work in a team environment to prepare lesson plans and provide instruction in middle/9th grade labs/classrooms that prepare students for a career in a variety of career pathways, including health, business, IT/engineering, public service, arts & communications, and ag/food science. Job responsibilities include providing opportunities for prospective students to explore many career paths and coordinate all aspects of the program with EFCTS administration, business partnership coordinator, and business partners.
Salary:
Placement on the certified teacher salary schedule
