The Opportunity 

Delaware North Gaming is hiring part-time Count Team Members at Orange City Poker Room in Orange City, Florida. As a Count Team Member, you will count and sort previous days' soft money and gaming chips accurately and in a timely manner, following all company and state policies and procedures.

Responsibilities 

• Retrieve monies and tickets from self-betting machines.
• Conduct soft count of currencies for multiple departments.
• Conduct hard count of poker chips from previous day drop as part of a team of 3.
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out accurately and neatly.
• Follow all procedures for conducting count process as stated in internal controls.
• Maintain a professional environment and lead by example.
• Follow all company, department, and state policies and procedures.

Qualifications 

• Ability to handle large amounts of money and chips responsibly.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the proper state gaming commission license.
• Excellent math skills a must.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• This position is part time with shifts starting in the morning. Shifts can last from 3 to 5 hours. Shift ends when the count is complete, so must be flexible on ending shift time.

Physical Requirements 

• Able to repetitively carry, lift, and empty poker chip boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a secured, confined location with other individuals for several hours.
• Manual dexterity to handle poker chips and currency.
• Potential exposure to high volume of noise.
