Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner role located in Dover, DE. The Nurse Practitioner will provide primary care services, including patient assessments, diagnostic testing, treatment planning, and ongoing patient management. A focus will be placed on collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure patient-centered, high-quality care. Responsibilities also include prescribing medications, educating patients on preventive care, and maintaining meticulous medical records.
Qualifications
- Experience in patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Skills in prescribing medications and creating effective care plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with patients and healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of electronic health records and medical documentation best practices
- Ability to provide patient education on preventive care, wellness, and chronic disease management
- Master’s degree in nursing and an active Nurse Practitioner license in Delaware
- Certification in relevant specialty areas (e.g., Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care) is preferred
- Prior experience in primary care or family medicine is a plus
