Position: Office Assistant
Location: Smithtown, NY 11787
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Duration: Temp to hire
Payrate: $25/hr (Weekly Pay)

Responsibilities:
- Basic computer skills, faxing, filing, customer service
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls professionally and promptly.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain and organize office filing systems, both electronic and paper-based.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and conference rooms.
- Prepare and distribute internal communications such as memos, emails, and reports.
- Order and maintain office supplies inventory to ensure availability.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing and expense tracking.
- Support administrative staff with data entry and document preparation.
- Maintain office equipment and coordinate repairs or service as needed.
- Handle routine clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, and printing.
- Assist with onboarding new employees by preparing workspaces and materials.
