Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary:

· Accountable for maximizing customer satisfaction through effective communication. Must utilize rapid and consistent follow-through skills with potential and existing customer base. This person works in close relation with our sales personnel and affiliated brokers at various levels.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities:

· Enter and maintain sales order communications.

· Assist with incoming phone calls and walk-in inquiries.

· Field calls from outside sales representatives and assist with their requests.

· Work directly with interdepartmental communication to ensure all orders are completed.

Secondary Functions and Responsibilities:

· Coordinate all clerical and miscellaneous duties and projects concerning customer service.

· Assist in organizing events and greeting visitors.

· Directing sales leads to the proper channels in an efficient and organized manner.

· Entering and maintaining critical database information on a timely basis.

· Assist with tasks related to trade shows and customer presentations.

· Field and coordinate complaint issues with a genuine interest in problem resolution.

· Coordinate and follow-up with sample request inquires from the sales staff.

· Provide additional support to the sales staff during periods of heavy trade show activity.

· May be asked to perform other tasks or handle other responsibilities that may not be covered in this outline.

Education/Training:

Degree: Associates Degree in business field and/or 2 years experience in office management and customer service.

Knowledge and/or Experience:

Understanding basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access Software Programs.

Knowledge and understanding of basic telephone communication skills.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively with customers as well as DeIorio’s Sales Personnel

Must be highly organized.

Demonstrates strong reliability by consistently meeting deadlines, following through on commitments, and maintaining a high level of accountability.

Collaborates effectively with team members, contributing to a positive work environment and supporting group objectives through open communication and cooperation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,040.80 - $56,651.29 per year
