What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Analyst position at Delphinus Engineering?
GENERAL SUMMARY: Professional with at least 8-10 years of proven experience in project/program management and analysis, preferably in DoD, to define, design, and implement customer requirements in Microsoft Project.
LOCATION: Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock, West Bethesda, MD
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate effectively with all project team members and program leadership to define project scopes including project tasking, project schedule and project costs for approximately 50 ongoing engineering test projects across 4 teams.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in MS Project.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Develop GANTT charts, spreadsheets, diagrams, process maps, and presentations to document progress and needs.
- Produce weekly/monthly reports in multiple varying formats as required.
- Ensure resource and personnel availability and allocation.
- Report project performance to government, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Experience in project management to help the client meet project milestones within time and budget through creation and maintenance of an active project schedule and risk register.
