What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI Tech Per Diem Rotate position at Delray Medical Center?
Summary
The MRI Tech performs diagnostic MRI examinations, following radiologist’ protocols, for evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Provides radiologist with pertinent clinical information. The MRI Tech demonstrates complete working knowledge of MRI scanner and related equipment. Performs routine protocols and positions patients correctly using appropriate coils. The MRI Tech participates in the quality, process and performance improvement initiatives as requested. Performs timely documentation in radiology computer systems. The MRI Tech meets departmental performance expectations and Customer Service Standards of Excellence.
Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited school of MRI
Preferred: Associates degree or Bachelors degree
Experience
Preferred: 2 years hospital experience
Certifications
Required: ARRT ( R ) and MRI certified; Florida CRT Licensure; American Heart Association BLS
