What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist Per Diem Days position at Delray Medical Center?
Summary
The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for providing therapy services, upon referral from an appropriate licensed practitioner, to patients including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation related documentation and communication. Evaluates and treats patients in order to produce effective outcomes. Communicates and assists in resolving problems. Demonstrates effective resource utilization that is critical to operational stability within the organization. Participates in performance improvement and program growth.
Qualifications
Education
Required: Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate Physical Therapy, in accordance with the State of Florida requirements for licensure.
Experience
Required: Pelvic Floor Experience
Preferred: Minimum of 2 years as a practicing PT in a healthcare setting, and neuro experience preferred
Certifications
Required: Physical Therapist Florida State Licensure and American Heart Association BLS
