The process operator is responsible for operating and monitoring extrusion production processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and product quality.
This position requires strong technical skills, compliance with safety standards, and the ability to resolve basic mechanical failures to minimize downtime.
Payrate of $25.75 then after 3 months of training and qualifying on job pay increases to $28.01. After one year of progression and meeting qualifications, the rate will increase to $31.97

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor extrusion production equipment according to standard procedures. Adjusting process parameters to optimize product quality and efficiency.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations. Performing routine inspections and reporting deviations or hazards.
- Mechanical Maintenance: Detecting and diagnosing minor mechanical problems in pumps, valves and other equipment. Collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Education: High School Diploma, Operator or equivalent in chemical process technology. Experience: 2–5 years in chemical or process industry.
- Technical skills: Strong understanding of extrusion processes, safety standards and mechanical systems.
- Affinity for maintenance: Ability to resolve basic failures and support mechanical repairs. Soft skills: Accurate, proactive, team player, good communication skills.
