WHO WE NEED

We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Project Accountant in our Endwell, NY office. The successful candidate will have five or more years of experience with computerized accounting systems, along with a degree in Accounting or Business Administration or specialized training in computerized accounting systems.

This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and strong communication, organizational & computer skills, and the abilities to work in a team environment and multi-task are essential.

Primary duties will include:

• Acting as a liaison to the firm s project managers, verifying that there is an executed purchase order or contract, understanding the billing requirements for each contract, providing draft invoices that accurately reflect the contract billing requirements, producing final invoices, tracking receipts, and maintaining the billing files.
• Acting as a liaison to the firm s subconsultants, reviewing subconsultant invoices for compliance with the firm s contracts with its clients, and maintaining the subconsultant records.
• Processing accounts receivable transactions.
• Processing accounts payable transactions and maintaining the accounts payable files.
• Performing analyses of general ledger accounts and making adjustments.
• Developing schedules to support annual financial audits.
