Inventory Control Analyst

Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mission Assurance Manager candidate to support a high-performance team within the Program Executive Office Missiles and Space at PM SHIELD (Short and Intermediate Effectors for Layered Defense) at Redstone Arsenal, AL.  

• Work independently with broad lateral guidance and responsibility for overseeing the overall management, planning, coordination, and growth of property accountability and supply support activities within the project office. 
• Control the purchase of materials for product offices and Installation properties/services.
• Monitor and maintain property and prepare applicable reports. 
• Represent Army Project Office in meetings pertaining to Property Control and recommend actions in accordance with army regulations, supplemental policy, local policy, and Standard Operation Procedures.
• Perform incoming processing for U.S. Government owned property per ISO procedures, maintain property accountability records, and determine condition of property and arrange disposal of surplus of obsolete material or equipment. 
• Familiarity with, and use when required, the Auto Scan Tracking System (ASTS) and the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
• Responsible for the accuracy of data input into tracking systems, and file all required documentation. 
• Attend meetings with staff and work with several Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
• Utilize the Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) program to negotiate contracts with manufacturers to ensure a cost-effective product is achieved.

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience and a bachelor’s degree
• Logistics background preferred

• Previous experience supporting Army Missiles and Space programs
• Must be familiar with Government properly reporting
• Strong attention to detail, verbal and written skills
• Clearance:  Active SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance.
