Dematic has an exciting opportunity in our Customer Service organization for a CAD Designer/Drafter who will perform routine work within a technical or paraprofessional area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in routine drawings to suit engineering changes
- Provide assistance in creating routine design layouts and detailed drawings of products
- Assist in compiling materials and specification sheet
- Assist with dimensions and annotate routine drawings
- Identify problems as they occur and suggest appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex
- Work primarily on AutoCAD Electrical platform
- Travel 5-10% throughout the year to customer locations/job sites
Basic Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent vocational technical training
- At least 3 years' experience in similar position
- Open to working overtime when needed to meet deadlines
- Able to multi-task and work in a high-growth, fast-paced and deadline driven environment successfully
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proficiency in Maestro (CET Designer), and / or EPlan.
- 5-7 years' experience in similar position
