Summary/Objective
The assembly team member performs operations to produce wire harnesses or to assemble those harnesses for any of Demco’s product lines by performing the essential functions. Qualified candidates must be able to read and use measuring tools accurately. Demco provides a competitive compensation & benefits package that takes into account your skills, and expertise. Stating at $18.20 based on experience.
Hours are Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm and Fridays as needed, based on production
Essential Functions
- Assemble electrical harnesses/wiring according to electrical prints
- Read and interpret electrical prints and documents
- Ability to use hand tools to cut, crimp, tin and splice electrical wires
- Attains assembly production goals by accurately and timely completing work orders with minimum supervision
- Reports defective or questionable material conditions to the assembly team leader
- Reports discrepancies on electrical prints or documents to assembly team leader
- Contribute to the continuous improvement activities for the department and building
- Relay tooling or equipment needs to Manufacturing Engineering Support
- Safely operate all equipment pertaining to the department, Tele sonic Welder, wire feeder, pneumatic crimper, forklift, etc.
