Dennis K. Burke Inc., headquartered in Taunton, MA, is always looking for great candidates. We have a great opportunity for Field Service Technician! Once trained, this position will work mostly independently and spend a most of the time travelling from customer site to customer site.
We are open to training someone with some plumbing or additional applicable experience for this role.
Summary
A field service technician is a mobile repair tech who travels to multiple locations to repair various forms of equipment, machinery, tanks, pumps, industry related electronics and monitor installations, etc. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects in a wide variety of settings and locations Valid drivers license, with clean driving record required. Background in installing or servicing lubricant equipment preferred.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Test and repair various lubricant and/or fuel related equipment at various sites
- Provide on-site commissioning and installation of multiple forms of equipment
- Confirm and maintain machinery and instruments so they remain fully functioning
- Provides contract or warranty repairs or replacement on site when necessary
- Train customers on start-up, operation, and maintenance of equipment
- Attend regular ongoing education as scheduled by employer or manufacturer of equipment
- Properly fills out service forms with customers and provides statements when required
- Travel to and from various sites and customer locations
- Perform other duties assigned, including but not limited to, service and training
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- Must possess knowledge of general electronics, machinery, and industry related equipment
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Possess a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
- Ability to diagnose issues described by customers via service calls
- Strong ability to handle multiple tasks, and prioritize within a single day
- Must be detail oriented, and have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Provide solutions to service calls in a time efficient manor, so as not cause frustration or other setbacks
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift 50 lbs frequently, up to 100lbs occasionally
- Able to bend, stand, walk, sit, push, pull, climb
- Able to stand on feet for majority of shift
Work Environment
This position is exposed to outside elements on a continuous basis and requires being on your feet and ability to drive for long periods at a time.
