Medical / WIC Receptionist (Part-Time)
The Dent County Health Center is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy individual to support patient registration, scheduling, phone management, and WIC services.
Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming phone calls
- Schedule medical and WIC appointments
- Register and check in patients
- Assist with WIC scheduling and client certification (training provided)
- Manage fax and document queues
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA
- Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
Requirements
- Must be eligible for WIC certification training
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Position Details
- Part-time position, 24 hours per week.
- Hourly wage: $15–$17 per hour, based on experience
- Typical weekday clinic hours
