Description
At Monroe Dental Arts, an office within Dental Associates of Connecticut, we are seeking to add a highly motivated and energetic full-time Dental Assistant to our successful team! The ideal candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask.

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist experienced dentists chairside, using four-handed dentistry
- Preparation of treatment rooms, ensuring instruments and equipment are sterile
- Breakdown of treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments are returned for sterilization promptly
- Daily morning meeting and team schedule review, anticipating the doctor's needs in advance
- Set up trays as indicated by the days' charts and doctor's anticipated needs
- Greet, seat, and screen patients - communicating patient concerns effectively to the doctor
- Take alginates, pour and trim models or scan utilizing the iTero scanner
- Take diagnostic x-rays (PA, Bitewing, Panoramic, 3D) as needed
- Keep operatory fully stocked
Requirements
- Superior customer service skills, with the ability to infuse personality, empathy, and enthusiasm into each patient contact
- Dental assisting experience
- Radiation Health Safety and Infection Control Certifications
- Superior customer service skills
- Willingness to learn & grow
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A desire to become part of our family-oriented team & support our mission to deliver the best patient experience possible!
- Ability to reliably commute to the office location in Monroe, CT
- Available to work during current office hours (four days weekly, one Saturday per month)
