Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including general dentistry and pediatrics.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area by ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
- Perform medical imaging and utilize 3D scanners as needed for diagnostic purposes.
- Document patient information accurately in medical records, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Manage sterilization of instruments and maintain compliance with infection control standards.
- Support front office operations as needed, including dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient flow and high-quality care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques is advantageous.
- Knowledge of medical documentation processes and infection control systems is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.

Expected hours: 34 – 36 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
