As a Practice Manager of Operations, you’ll be a valued business partner to the owner doctor and the dental office. As a hard-working and motivated leader, you will help lead and support our dental team and ensure that our practice provide highest standard of dental care to the community. Experience working in DSO like Heartland, Operation Dental, or Scheduling Institute supported offices will be considered an asset. As a startup, office manager will be performing both front desk/reception duties and practice manager, until initial goals are met.
About the role-
- Demonstrate ownership to the dental office and always eager to develop technical, commitment and leadership skills
- Ensure goals and priorities of Doctors and teams are in sync through measurable parameters and discussed during weekly team meetings led by the practice manager.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and life-long learning by participating in various practice management courses, and leadership training.
- Support the Doctor, Hygienist, and business assistants through synergy meetings monthly, team meetings weekly, and strong morning huddles.
- Create alignment with doctor through daily one on ones, morning huddles and weekly touch points discussing communication, connection and support needed
- Commit to serving as a business partner for the Doctor collaborating and developing quarterly and annual financial goals
- Help Doctor prioritize, plan and block schedule for CE through Doctor Education and Leadership programs.
- Identify and support future team growth by selecting candidates (BA, DA, Hygienists) that are an 80% match for both the position and the practice
- Partner with Doctors to identify skills needed for open positions and proper selection team within the practice
- Successfully onboard new team members through partnerships with recruiting and support office.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree and/or 2- 5 years’ leadership experience in a dental office is must.
- Experience working in a fast-paced dental office in a customer-centric environment
- Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies
- Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
- Trustworthy; maintain patient confidentially and team ethics
Preferred Experience
- 1 years of experience in a dental setting
- 1 years of experience with dental insurance billing and accounts receivable
- Dentrix, Curve dental, or other dental software experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person once conditions allow) periodically throughout the year (some travel will eventually be involved)

Estimated starting date: July 15th, 2024.
Work schedule:
- Monday: 10 am to 6 pm
- Tuesday: 8 am to 5 pm
- Wednesday: 8 am to 5 pm
- Thursday: 7 am to 4 pm
- Friday: 7 am to 1 pm
- Saturday: 7 am to 1 pm (alternate week)
- Sunday: closed

Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour
