Qualities needed to be successful in this role would include:
- Ability to read and interpret customer prints and diagrams.
- Create new item masters, BOMs, Routings, quotes, and product specifications.
- Document and build new parts or revisions in a timely manner to help grow the business.
- Ensure changes are documented, filed, and communicated to all related departments.
- Must be hands on and mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and fix equipment as needed
- Participate in all process areas to ensure the end-to-end quality of the manufacturing.
- Assist in processing Engineering Change Requests.
- Two-year degree in an engineering or technical related field.
- In lieu of degree, you must have 3-5 years of related hands on experience in a high volume, repetitive manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Desire for continual improvements
- A life learner.
