Business Systems Analyst

Description

The Business System Analyst performs analytical and technical work in the planning, design, and implementation of existing ERP processes; supporting our Continuous Improvement for Sales; generates business reports and metrics; trains end users in the use of software; performs general maintenance tasks; troubleshoots and resolves issues with ERP systems and peripheral equipment located throughout the organization; evaluates products for compatibility, expandability, and ease of use and support; recommends hardware and software products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Quoting and MSA Management:

• Generate and manage sales quotes in NetSuite ERP.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all quotes and MSAs.
• Collaborate with the sales team to review and finalize MSAs.
• Track and monitor the status of quotes and MSAs to ensure timely processing.
  

Margin Analysis:

• Conduct detailed margin analysis to ensure pricing strategies align with company goals.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, margins, and profitability.
• Provide actionable insights to the sales and finance teams to optimize pricing and margin strategies.

Rebate Program Management:

• Administer and monitor rebate programs within NetSuite ERP.
• Track rebate accruals, payments, and ensure compliance with program terms.
• Work with finance and sales teams to reconcile rebate payments and resolve discrepancies.
  

Sales Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Prepare regular sales performance reports and dashboards using NetSuite ERP data.
• Analyze sales metrics and KPIs to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports as requested by management. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in sales analysis, finance, or related roles preferred.
• Proficiency in NetSuite ERP system is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
